In December 2017, the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce and UCCCC Foundation named Adam Farrell the 2017 BIZZY Awards LCC Servant Leader Honoree. Way to go, Adam!
Here's a little something about and from our amazing friend:
Adam Farrell is a graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi, Class 31. He was a member of the Leadership Corpus Christi Class 42, 43, 44 Steering Committees and was the Steering Committee's General Chair for Class 45.
Adam stated, "To be recognized as a servant leader is an unbelievable honor. And to know that I was nominated by my peers who have studied what it truly means to be a servant leader is pretty mind blowing.
In my life I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to many great servant leaders who entered my life at just the right time. I would like to name a few of them now; my parents Stephen and Adele Farrell, Coach Caspar Wenzel, James "Frog" Sullivan, Dr.Scott Elliff and the entire Leadership Corpus Christi Class 45 Steering Committee.
These men and women showed me what it looked like to naturally want to serve first and then consciously choose to lead. Without their guidance, stewardship and friendship I would not be who I am today.
Thank you to my wife and kids who have sacrificed many nights, weekends and family vacations so that I can strive to make a positive impact on our community.
To my Leadership Corpus Christi Class 45 Steering Committee, thank you for your time and commitment to positively impact 30 great emerging leaders in our community. I am a better person for our time together.
I am honored and humbled to accept this year's Leadership Corpus Christi's Servant Leader of the Year award. Thank you."
