2012-13 LCCA COMMITTEES:
Strategic Planning- Works on benefits and survey of membership. The idea group that puts it into action. Working directly to making LCCA a great organization.

Communications/Branding Committee-
The LCCA Communication Committee (LCCA COMM) is charged with all areas of communication, marketing, social media, advertising and media relations for the LCCA. All marketing materials using the LCCA logo or icon must be approved by LCCA COMM. We meet as needed based on the LCCA event calendar and are tasked with creating policies, procedures, marketing materials and media packets for LCCA events and programs as well as provide aid for LCC promotions.
BOG-Board of Governors- Two people are selected from each LCC Class to be the communications liaison with their respected classes. This will be appointed by each class. The BOG falls underneath the Communications/Branding Committee.
Chairperson – C. Michelle Peters (36), Cecil Johnson, Garrick Phelps, Melissa Espitia, Omar Lopez, RaMina Mirmortavazi, Paulette Kluge, Joe Hilliard and Chris Cisneros-Guzman.
Fun Committee –
v – Is just that… the committee is responsible for planning and executing all events for LCCA excluding events not primarily educational or fundraising. Events include: Welcome reception for new LCC Classes in Aug/Sept., the Merry Holiday Party in December, Annual Meeting in May/June and any additional events as needed. The Fun Committee will evaluate and determine whether to recommend to the Board of Directors all new events.

Education & Programming– Regular information forums created and implemented by this committee. Held in various locations with timely topics. Develops and plans other continuing educaiton opportunities for further leadership development.
Chairperson: Raul Vasquez (6)
Fundraising Committee- The annual Roast fundraiser for LCCA. Plans, organizes and completes this yearly event. Primary source of funding for Alumni Association. Each year a prominent Alumnus is roasted. Includes a dinner, silent auction and other activities as designed.
